Event Details
Learn how to massage your infant and begin this wonderful, nurturing and loving touch. Each session consist of 5 classes that are about 1 hour long where only parents and full-time caregivers massage their babies. You will learn to observe the baby's responses throughout the massage, and how to respond to their cues. Each week parents will learn how to massage a different part of the body and have a week to practice at home before coming back to class for a review. It is a great opportunity for parents to meet other parents, to gain support, and to participate in open discussions on the benefits of infant massage. Studies have shown that massaging your baby is beneficial for their health.
Classes will start July 12 2013 for 5 weeks at 10:00 AM
New summer price! Total price for 5 classes is $100. If you register before July 4 get all 5 classes for $85.00

Handouts and oils for baby massage will be provided. Please bring a blanket, pillow and something to put under your baby like a cloth diaper or a changing mat. Please email your baby's name and age.
Instructor
Cynthia Covian-Hernandez is a Physical Therapist who is also a Certified Educator of Infant Massage and a Certified Lactation Specialist. She massaged her three children as infants before becoming a certified educator of infant massage.
